I believe that anyone with any athletic goal needs to consider themselves and ATHLETE. Whether your goal is to begin exercising a couple days a week and develop a routine, or run a Boston Qualifier and beyond, you deserve the attention, education, and treatment any athlete of any ability should get. Every athlete of every ability deserves a coach to help them become the best version of themselves. My coaching philosophy is that "Your goal is my goal" so if your goal is to have fun, I will work with you to create a training plan on how to have fun but also work to avoid pitfalls that may lead to injury or burnout. If your goal is to BQ, I will work within your schedule to come up with the best training and routine we can and also encourage more or less training if needed. As a coach, I see my job as fostering independence and creating scaffolding that can slowly be removed until I become more of a guide. After years of coaching and mentoring in person I am now taking athletes online. After some thought, I felt passionate that I wanted to work for a woman owned company that shared my core values, and so I joined the Up+Running coaching roster in April of 2020! I like to keep my roster of athletes intimate so that I can give them the quality individualized training they deserve. The process is easy!
